Part of our Color in Nature series, this display places specimens on backgrounds on which they are difficult to spot in nature. Camouflage is used by many organism that do not have other defenses like toxins or venom to avoid predation. This drawer was adopted by Patti Tsai-Steiner in honor of Hubert de Dompsure, grandson of John Steiner.
