Sp. 1: El Dorado, Lassen, Marin, Nevada, Santa Barbara (RLZC), San Bernardino (UCRC). Both macropterous and brachypterous specimens. The color can vary: head from all black to all yellow. Mesosoma usually all black except with yellow scutum, but occasionally pronotum or scutellum also yellow. Metasoma mostly black dorsally, sometimes yellow basally.
