Sp. 1: Alpine, Imperial, Inyo, Lassen, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo.(CSCA, RLZC, UCDC, UCRC).
Sp. 2: Marin, Santa Cruz. (RLZC). This may simply be a color form of sp. 1, localized in a small coastal area of northern California.

Remarks
Ceraptroceroideus idahoensis keys to sp. 1, but in the former the mid tibia is dark apically and the forewing has 6 hyaline patches, while sp. 1 has the mid tibia yellow apically and only 4 hyaline patches.
